Conduct and
Rules
Boys Rules: Field numbers and Restraining line will be
determined. To increase speed, team play performance, and
stick skills we may not have a restraining line.
The
following will result in unnecessary roughness calls and result
in 1,2, minute penalties and/or ejection from game or session.
- Boarding
– contact causing player to be forced into the boards,
includes pinning players to boards.
- Cross
Checking. No matter where your hands/gloves are; thrusting
the shaft of stick into opponent.
- Slashing
(same as field game)
- Blind
Siding; Body checking where ball carrier is not provided the
opportunity to “see” the check coming.
- In
other words, if the body check is avoidable it should be
avoided.
- On a
shot players may clear the crease but may not Cross Check
(see 2 above)
-
Unsportsmanlike Conduct – players or fans – Any conduct or
play that does not “honor the game”
- Repeated
offenses will cause ejection from game and league without
refund.
